Happy Tuesday everyone! This week at Crafty Sentiments we are having a no designer paper challenge and a preview of new stamps all week. I hope you join us! On with the challenge: I decided to go paperless and did a mini Christmas scene display. The blocks are old stamps that I peeled off and sprayed with paint and glitter and the tree is a cone made out of a 12x12 sheet covered in leaves from my backyard. I thought the image of the boy and girl singing goes great with the word blocks JOY. I think I will add more stamps to the scene to make it more festive. Thanks for stopping by!

Hello everyone, today I'm sharing a Christmas card using Crafty Sentiments new die. This was such a gorgeous image to color. I wish I had some kind of winter flower but all I had were primas. I wanted to do a kind of shabby chic wedding card so so I printed Prim Rose on recycled cardstock and made nature the background. I love the clear little baubles because they remind me of raindrops. Happy Thursday everyone! I've been a very busy bee. My husband and I just moved to our new house and it has pretty much taken me 3 weeks to pack and unpack and I'm still missing some stuff. Happy Friday! Today we are having our first Instyle Stamps Blog Hop of 2011! Hooray! Our theme this month is Valentine's Day! If you came from Jessica's Blog you are on the right track, if not you can always start at the ISS Blog and go from there.

Valentine's Day is commonly known in Spanish as The Day of Love and Friendship. Now my friends and I always celebrate Valentine's by sending each other little treats and getting together and having dinner. Even though I'm married, I always try and show my friends that I love them too and am thankful for them on this day and vice versa. With that said my Valentine's gift is not for the Hubby (sorry honey..lol) but for one of my friends. This little treat box says Thank You on the front and the inside will say For Being a Friend. Yes I am a golden girl fan, therefore I will also include a little video at the end of the post. ;)

Anyhoo, I didn't want the box to be too romantic (dark reds,browns,blacks) so I picked pastel colors and lace to give it a sweet and girly feel. I used one of the sweeter stamps from Patty Love for the front (cause we all know the home made sweets are the best part of Valentines). For the treats, I will be making heart shaped Jam cookies. Yum. I hope you keep your friends in mind when making those Valentine gifts this year, they will definitely appreciate them..I know mine do. :)

Hello everyone just wanted to share a onesie I did for my nephew. I got the file off the internet but it was a pain to paint so I made a more simple tuxedo shirt to share. Instyle Stamps Inspiration Challenge

Happy Wednesday everyone! ISS has another challenge for you. We have a gorgeous photo to help you get inspired. We were asked to make a gift for someone unexpected so I made a Christmas gift for my niece's teacher. I decided to recycle and decorate a plastic box and added a lotion and spray set inside. The image I used is called Suzette who is available as a digi. I decorated the front before glueing it to the clear box. The tag hangs from the bow and the sentiment and ornament stamps were a little extra I decided to add at the last minute. Here is the card I created with digi image Leang and Sei. Aren't they adorable? I added some glitter to a few mini bottles I had in my stash to make it look like they had snow in them. Hello everyone, can't believe it's Thursday already. Crafty Sentiments has a fun challenge for you. Since the holidays are around the corner I know I'm not the only one making some homemade gifts. This week our challenge is to make a gift for someone. I had seen some diy snowglobes online and decided to give it a go. It was pretty simple and so much fun to make. I wrapped a little santa necklace around the tree and some glitter for the snow. I made the tag with a CS snowman digi. It's Blog Hop time at Instyle Stamps! Yay! If you are following the hop, you should have just left Cathy's Blog if not you can always start from the ISS Blog. This hop our theme was giving thanks. I made some goodie bags with thank you notes for some friends who have been helping me plan a party. I cut the bags with my cricut and used the Willows Digi image from ISS for the thank you cards. I added some dots around the willows to make them look full and added a frame using a ruler and pen.

Gigi Notebook

Hello everyone!
I just wanted to share a $1 notebook I altered . Isn't Gigi adorable? I took the front and back cover of the notebook and glued AC paper on and then adhered the colored Gigi and bow onto the front cover. Very simple yet Gigi makes the notebook look fab.
